According to The Guardian reports, a bus fire in western Switzerland killed at least six people and injured several others on March 10, 2026.

The fire broke out at around 6:25 PM on a bus traveling through the main street of Kerzers, a small town about 20 km west of the Swiss capital Bern.

Videos on social media showed flames coming from the bus windows and thick black smoke rising into the air.

Passengers were seen escaping from the burning vehicle.

Police said at least six people died and five others were injured, including three in serious condition.

Several ambulances and a rescue helicopter were sent to the scene.

Authorities have launched an investigation, as the incident may have been a deliberate act.
