Authorities in Scotland’s Cairngorms National Park announced a new fire safety regulation aimed at reducing wildfire risks.Starting next year, visitors will be banned from lighting campfires or using barbecues within the park from April to September.The decision follows increasing concern about summer wildfires in the Highlands.

Officials explained that even small campfires can rapidly spread in dry, windy conditions, endangering wildlife and local communities. Rangers will increase patrols to ensure compliance, and signs will be placed at popular tourist spots.
