It is understood that after the postponement of the Hangzhou Asian Games, the volunteer Department of the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee has conducted a research and judgment on the original volunteer team for the Games, and will recruit about 30,000 volunteers this year. The interview and selection focus on the comprehensive ability of volunteers, volunteer service experience, foreign language skills, physical fitness and etiquette image.

More than 1300 people and more than 600 volunteers originally recruited for the Games formed the school Asian Games volunteer service team. As a university with foreign language characteristics, Zhejiang Foreign Studies has recruited students involved in a wide range of languages, including English, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Russian, German, Spanish and 11 other languages.
