the specialist fire and security testing and certification provider, has expanded its sprinkler head testing capabilities in Australia in response to anticipated demand for new testing requirements introduced by Australian Standard AS1851-2012, which will now see sprinkler heads tested at 25 years after installation and then every ten years thereafter.

Local drop off points are also available for the transportation of samples to Exova’s laboratory in Dandenong, Victoria, which will perform the release temperature, functional test and leak resistance testing for sprinkler heads.

Exova Warringtonfire’s facility accredited by NATA for an extensive range of tests, and the laboratory is a Registered Testing Authority in accordance with the National Construction Code.
