During trips and vacations, most travelers stay in hotels. Fire safety cannot be ignored for personal safety. After checking into a hotel, spend a few minutes checking the floor plan nearby. Locate emergency staircases, fire exits, evacuation routes and fire equipment including fire extinguishers and fire hoses. Confirm whether exit doors can open smoothly. Do not lock escape doors or block walkways with luggage. Memorize two different evacuation paths in case one route catches fire. Master basic fire self-rescue skills to protect yourself in emergencies.
