In the past week, several new wildfires have emerged in Montana, Washington, and Oregon due to lightning strikes and extreme heat. According to the National Interagency Fire Center, over 20 new fire spots were reported since July 28, burning thousands of acres of forest land.

Firefighters are working day and night to control the spread.Some areas required air tankers and helicopters to drop water to protect nearby communities and campsites.So far, no casualties have been reported, but fire danger remains high.
