The ministry of Culture and Tourism launched the "2020 Hong Kong and Macao 'Beautiful China' online promotion campaign on December 12, aiming to attract more Hong Kong and Macao compatriots to the mainland for sightseeing, feel the unique charm of Chinese civilization, and enhance their sense of identity and pride of the country.

It is reported that in this event, the four venues in Beijing, Hebei, Guangdong and Hong Kong will change the "face to face" into "line to line" and the "hand to hand" into "screen to screen" through "cloud" mode of online interaction.To showcase the natural landscape, world heritage, culture and history, local conditions and customs of the Mainland to the tourism agencies and media of Hong Kong and Macao, and to promote closer cooperation between the cultural and tourism industries of the Mainland and Hong Kong and Macao.　　The event is the first of a series of "2020 Hong Kong and Macao 'Beautiful China' online promotion campaign", which focuses on new products, preferential policies, recovery of scenic spots and safety and epidemic prevention measures launched for Hong Kong and Macao markets after the epidemic.
